An office refurbishment and 4 storey extension to an existing commercial property located within a conservation area in a prominent position on Chancery Lane. The design approach is simple and elegant to enhance the qualities of the existing architecture.
The curved design of the main reception is reflected in the design response for the roof terraces. A curving line weaves throughout the terraces to link spaces and create an intricate design feature when viewed at close range and from above.
A mixed native and ornamental planting palette provides structure and habitat for natural ecosystems whilst maintaining a formal and attractive aesthetic.
