Jim de Bertrand


Landscape Architect

Jim is a Senior Landscape Architect with responsibility for delivering our projects to the highest standards. Jim graduated from Kingston University with a Post-Graduate Diploma in Landscape Architecture (Passed with Distinction) and has been a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI) since 2009.

Jim expertly coordinates the team in design delivery and project management of residential, community, urban design and education projects. He has worked on a broad range of projects through all work stages in UK cities, Europe, Middle East and North Africa since first joining the practice in 2004.

He has excellent coordination skills and has liaised with a large number of design consultants on significant projects to resolve complex site issues. Jim has expertise in masterplanning, ecology, contract administration, site implementation, LVIA and public and stakeholder engagement.

He is practised in delivering schemes to sustainability criteria and was the project landscape architect for the first UK primary school to achieve BREEAM ‘Excellent’.
