Senior Landscape Architect
Jim graduated from Kingston University with a Post-Graduate Diploma (Distinction) in 2006, becoming a Chartered Landscape Architect in 2009. Jim has worked on a broad range of projects at Coe Design since 2004, including education, commercial, residential, public realm and sustainability exemplar projects. He has undertaken schemes across the UK, in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He has senior responsibilities for Landscape and urban design projects. He has excellent coordination skills and has liaised with a large number of design consultants on large projects to resolve complex site issues.
Jim has multiple experiences of leading projects across a range of sectors. For education he has led our team in the delivery of 5 award-winning schools in Wolverhampton to completion and is the project leader for major school, redevelopment in Guernsey, a SEN school in Lewisham and private sector schools.
He has made important contributions leading the team for numerous projects in Housing, University, Transport and Public Realm schemes in cities, London, Birmingham, Liverpool, and Winchester.
He has gained expertise in planning negotiation, is a champion for Landscape and Visual Impact assessments. Recent studies have been undertaken for Education, Arts, Visitor Centres, Aviation and Charity Extra Care clients.
